ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
I grew up in the city of Detroit, with a passion for beauty, fashion, business and traveling. Born to a single mother, with only a high school education, I was raised in an impoverished area on Detroit’s east side. My upbringing fueled my determination to make something out of my life. As I grew older, I finished high school and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Davenport University. My budding interest in business, travel and community service led me to the conclusion that entrepreneurship is the road to success and wealth.
Why PPE? On April 5, 2020 after displaying Covid like symptoms: loss of taste, smell, severe fatigue and excruciating lower back pain I drove my mom to the ER. Upon our arrival, doctors met us outside. I asked the doctors, “do you have a N95 mask for my mom to wear while waiting to be seen?” The doctor replied, “We do not have any N95 mask for patients, we don’t even have masks for staff”. I was so disgusted that our front- liners and health care workers didn’t have the necessary equipment and even more disgusted my mom could further be exposed to the virus. That’s when I had an “AHA moment”. My company have capabilities to import supplies to help cut down on virus spread. So, here we are…
